As of lately...

Well us Miller's have been quite busy lately!! We love it though and are having a blast together! A few weeks ago it was Kristen's birthday so we took her out for a birthday dinner, she decided Tepayaki....it was fantastic!! I think that was the first time Nick had to actually pay for the meal. He's been there for school dances and of course the girl had to pay, I bet it him something one time and he won so I had to pay, but now it was his turn to pay, and what a great night it was!! Thanks Kristen for having a birthday!! We love you!

VEGAS for Spring Break!!! Well we decided to head south for a warm weekend!! Nick's sister and family were in Vegas for a family wedding and we decided to bum half of their hotel room or should I say suite!!! It was great to sit by the pool, hang out with the kids, go shopping, be in warm weather, and winning $50 bucks!!

Next on our list.........WELCOME HOME ELDER RYAN CAMPBELL!!! I'm so happy he's home. We sat at the airport for so long making jokes while waiting, he's cleaning out the airplane, changing into something besides a suit, making up some sort of crazy dance to come down the escalator! Ha ha, We love him and missed him over the last 2 years! It's been great having him home and around! We love you too!

WE LOVE THE JAZZ...My boss was out of town so I got 2 of his season tickets for Saturday's game. It was such a good game!! They played the Phoenix Suns and it was great, overtime and everything, but most inmportantly we were on the big screen 3 times!! It was so fun, so thanks boss for the tickets, we had a blast!

2 concerts in 1 week!!

So about a year and a half ago, Nick and I heard that Celine Dion would be coming to Salt Lake to perform, we both were so excited and though why not get tickets because she won't be performing in Vegas any longer and we wouldn't go travel anywhere else to see her, so we bought the tickets in November of 2007, knowing we had to wait until the next Nov/Dec to see her. So a whole year goes by, we got engaged, Nick goes to Chicago for the summer, wedding plans happen, Nick comes home, we get married, honeymoon, halloween, thanksgiving, and come to find out Celine cancelled her concert and rescheduled for February 22nd. So yes we waited another 3 months for her to come!!! Oh well it was amazing!!! Our seats were fantastic, and we had a blast!!!

On Thursday I think it was I got a call from a friend asking if I wanted to go to the MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice concert down at the McKay Events Center in Orem, Of course I went, it was so fun, it was Jodi, Jill, Michelle and Devan and I. It was a blast, and a well needed girls night out!! The concert started at 9 and ended about 1 AM!!! It was crazy, we had floor general admission tickets and got stuck down in the bottom with a million other crazy people. I think at one point my feet weren't touching the floor....it was a fun, but finally after elbows in my ribs and could hardly breath we all left the center and went towards the back!! It was a crazy night but we all had a blast!! Thanks Jill for getting the tickets and thanks Jodi for the invite!! Oh yeah and don't worry I got the sweetest T shirt!!!

New Years 2008/2009

What a great 2008 and a fantastic way to close the year!!!! For New Years Eve, we didn't know what we wanted to do....we were going to go with friends, but no one was really doing much. My mom called me and told us to go up to Wolf Mountain and snowboard! They had a party up there and there was going to be fireworks, and fire pit, food and music, so we thought for a minute and said why not, something different!!! We changed, loaded the car up with our gear and headed up the mountain. Snowboarding was so fun, there was hardly anyone up there but just enough to have fun. As it was getting closer to midnight we went up with the Ski Patrol, and other skiers, and prepared for the Torch Run. Right was midnight hit, they turned off all the ski run lights and we lit our flares and off we went down the mountain, as we got half way down the mountain fireworks went off and everyone at the bottom was cheering!!! It was so much fun!! We had a great time ringing in the new year!!! I hope 2009 brings us more activities, like this. Happy New Years everyone!!

We had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS

Christmas time is always busy time, either way I look at it!! Shopping, Parties, Eating ect!! We had a blast during Christmas break and look forward to many more Christmas's together!! The Saturday before Christmas is when it all started, we had my mom's side of the family, family party and had a great time exchanging white elephants. Sunday we had the tradition Jerusalem Dinner at Miller's. We all dressed up, and had salmon, breads, and fruits and veggies, we spend the evening telling our favorite stories of Christ and the kids act out the Nativity Story. Tuesday the 23rd is the annual Campbell family Christmas party, we eat and eat, act out the nativity, sing, and do talents, the Campbells/Millers had by far the best talent and then Santa and Mrs Claus come and give us each a present, we have been doind the same thing on the Campbell side since I can remember and love this tradition. Christmas Eve we were back to the Millers for another party, with amazing yummy food prepared by Jana. Her sister and her 3 kids came and we played a fun dice game, and did another white elephant exchange, it's great going over there to see the excitement of the little kids and also the older ones too! Ha!! That night we went to my parents and had a sleep over. We got woken up by Ryan calling from his Mission, he was wondering why we weren't awake yet...oh yeah we're 2 hours behind him!! We talked to him for an hour, and then opened Christmas presents!! Santa was very nice to us this year and brought us lot of fun new things! I got a garbage can, yes I know it sounds lame but we needed one so bad!! I was tired of the garbage just hanging in our kitchen. So I got that, clothes, another iPod, yes my 3rd iPod, I promise not to burn it up, and or loose it! Nick got a new fly rod and lots of gear for fishing, oh yes we got a QUEEN size sleep bag!! Anyways, we had a very good Christmas and wish you all had the same!!! Happy New Years and be safe!!
